Magnus vinner priser for filmmusikken han komponerer og sangene han skriver. Og så bygget han lydstudio på gården som han kaller «Fjøset». Utdannet i Los Angeles. Skrevet sanger for artister som Ne-Yo, Mary J. Blige, Jessica Simpson og Kelly Rowland. Med Ne-Yo song Closer, nådde Magnus No 1 in the UK og No 1 opå Billboard Hot 100 Airplay listen i USA. Magnus har komponert musikk for 15 filmer som Izzat (2005), Cold Prey (2006), Orange Girl (2009), Jackpot (2011), Escape (2012) og Ragnarok (2013). Magnus jobber i Los Angeles and Europe med base på Lillehammer og i “Fjøset”.

Og så startet han LIMPI. Og lar studentene bruke lydstudioet hjemme, på «Fjøset». Lillehammer Institute of Music Production and Industries offers the music education program Advanced one-year Program in Professional Music Production and International Music Industries. At Limpi we don't prepare you for the real world – we bring the real world into the classroom.

The vision behind Limpi was to create something we wish existed when we started our own careers. At Limpi time is spent creating, and the teachers have active music industry careers. We decided to do everything in one intense year, focusing on daily music production, under the guidance of professionals who are living examples of what the students aspire to be. We thought; what if the music industry itself took charge in educating and nurturing the next generation of music makers, actually working on real life examples, instead of pretending? What happens if the hit makers of today meet up weekly with the world's leading new talent, creating music together?
